Today was an odd-jobs sort of day. I spent the day scaling patterns to the correct size, so that I can cut out and sew some clothes from vintage patterns. Sewing makes me happy!

I tried to make a cheese souffle for the first time today. Not a success. I need an oven thermometer. And tonight is supposed to be stuffed beef heart, but all I found at the store was liver, so we’re having liver tonight.

I can’t wait to get these patterns made and start cutting! I’m looking forward to working with real vintage patterns. Maybe I need to do a sewing series, using my vintage sewing books and sewing patterns!

See you tomorrow!
