Happy Meal Planning Monday! This first week in March is the first week of my experiment with the infamous Good Housekeeping green binder (affiliate link) of the 1950s. Monday through Saturday menus came straight from the booklets! Here is Mid-Century Menu Monday for March 2-8. Oh, and I noted which booklet the recipes for the day came from, too.

Mid-Century Menu Monday Dinners

This week, I’m testing a couple of appetizer ideas from Good Housekeeping’s Appetizer Book. Every day (except Sunday) before dinner I will serve Potpourri Cheese, Savory Cheese Spread, or Avocado Tidbits (yes, these all include cheese). I’m working on building an “off-the-shelf” short order appetizer shelf in the pantry. And a cocktail bar.

Monday
