Monday’s Meal Plan

Breakfast

  • Stewed figs or canned
  • Poached eggs on toast
  • Prepared whole cereal
  • Coffee for adults, milk for children

Lunch

  • Cream of carrot soup
  • Crisp crackers
  • Grapefruit salad
  • Hot or iced tea, milk for children

Dinner

  • Cheese souffle
  • Quick escalloped potatoes
  • Buttered lima beans
  • Whole wheat bread and butter
  • Head lettuce with 1000 Island dressing
  • Blackberries
  • Coffee for adults, milk for children

Tuesday’s Meal Plan

Breakfast

  • Grapefruit juice
  • Broiled bacon
  • Raisin toast with butter
  • Coffee for adults, milk for children

Lunch

  • Broiled sardine sandwiches
  • Creamed onions
  • Apricots
  • Lemonade

Dinner

  • Braised kidneys and shortribs of beef with gravy

  • Creamed celery
  • Cabbage and apple salad
